About Us
A professional corporate secretarial firm dedicated to supporting businesses in meeting their statutory and regulatory obligations.
Our story
Compliance handled, so growth gets your attention
GAL Global Advisory Consultancy Pte Ltd is a Singapore corporate services firm. Our services span company incorporation, corporate governance advisory, statutory compliance, regulatory filings and board support — for startups incorporating their first entity, SMEs outgrowing a bookkeeper, and established enterprises consolidating group compliance.
We were built on a simple observation: most business owners do not want to become experts in the Companies Act. They want a team that knows it, applies it correctly, and tells them plainly what needs to happen next. That is the relationship we aim for — professionalism, trust and long-term partnership rather than transactional filing.
Our standard: every register accurate, every deadline met, every recommendation genuinely suited to the client — not the easiest thing to file.

Leadership
Led by a chartered governance professional
Grace Angelina Lim
CEO
Grace leads GAL Global Advisory Consultancy. She is a chartered secretary and chartered governance professional, with further qualifications in accounting and administrative management — the combination that lets the firm take a client from incorporation through governance, administration and tax reporting without handing the file to anyone else.
Clients deal with her directly on board and compliance matters. That is deliberate: the person advising your directors should be the person accountable for the filing.
Community
Outside the firm, Grace Angelina Lim holds two appointments in Chinese cultural heritage. Both roles are voluntary. GAL Global supports the charity events.
-

Common questions
What owners usually ask us first
Does my Singapore company really need a company secretary?
Yes. Every Singapore company must appoint a company secretary within six months of incorporation, and the position cannot be left vacant for more than six months. For a private company the secretary must be ordinarily resident in Singapore. We can act as your named company secretary and maintain the statutory registers that come with the role.
I am a foreigner. Can I own a Singapore company outright?
A Singapore private limited company can be 100% foreign-owned. What it must have is at least one director who is ordinarily resident in Singapore. If you are not yet based here, we can provide a nominee resident director so the company can be incorporated without waiting. Once someone within the company qualifies to hold the seat, the nominee steps aside.
When does my company have to register for GST?
Registration becomes compulsory once taxable turnover exceeds the prescribed annual threshold, on either a retrospective or a prospective basis. Voluntary registration is also possible and sometimes advantageous where your customers are GST-registered. We will look at your actual revenue profile and tell you which side of that line you sit on.
Can you take over from our current corporate service provider?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We handle the resignation and appointment filings, obtain the statutory records from the outgoing agent, review them for gaps, and tell you plainly if anything needs rectifying before your next annual return.
What do you need from us to get started?
For a new incorporation: proposed company names, the intended business activities, particulars of directors and shareholders with identification documents, the registered office arrangement and your intended financial year end. For an existing company, your latest annual return, financial statements and the statutory registers.
